Downsview Aerospace Innovation & Research (DAIR) and the NRC presented information about aerospace commercialization and research & development plans. Attendees learned more about Canada’s role in the greening of the global aerospace industry.
From the NRC, Mike Benner, Director of R&D, Aerodynamics, within the Aerospace Research Centre, and Pervez Canteenwalla, Program Lead, NRC Low Emission Aviation Program in the Gas Turbine Lab, shared their perspectives on how Canada’s approach to green aviation ties in with global sustainability practices.
DAIR provided information about the Green Fund initiative and how to get involved, as well as potential alignment with NRC research programs.
