The aerospace industry showcased R&D projects they are working on and opportunities for collaboration and new partnerships. Participants heard from Fibos, De Havilland Aircraft of Canada (DHC), Shimco, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Canada Aerospace (MHICA) on a diverse set of topics:
- Combustion Dynamic Measurements: Applications in aerospace MRO and predictive health
- Qualification of additive manufacturing (AM) processed aerospace parts
- Harvesting extremely small levels of energy from pressure and vibration and using the data for diagnostic and prognostic health monitoring of critical components of aircraft
- Assessment, evaluation and implementation of advanced technologies for flexible design and manufacturing.
The presentations were followed by a Q&A period.
